When I became a Mum I wanted to give my babies the very best start and that included choosing products that are safe, gentle, and free from harmful chemicals. Whether it’s nappy cream, baby wipes, or bath products there are now plenty of beautiful, clean options available.
I’m sharing some of my favourite natural and organic baby products so you can confidently make the switch to a lower-tox lifestyle for your little one.
🛁 1. Organic Baby Shampoo & Body Wash
Many mainstream baby washes contain synthetic fragrances, parabens, SLS, and other irritants. A gentle, organic baby wash is a great place to start.
I regularly use:
- Ecostore Baby Bubble Bath and Body Wash – these two products are formulated with safe, naturally-derived ingredients, to be especially gentle on the youngest skin.

👶 2. Natural Nappy Rash Cream
Nappy rash creams should soothe irritation without loading your baby’s skin with synthetic preservatives.
My Top Natural Choices:
- Ecostore Baby Nappy Balm – gentle & fragrance free nappy balm.
- Wotnot Natural Nappy Rash Cream – Free from talc and petrochemicals, this nourishing formula includes zinc oxide, aloe vera and calendula.
- MooGoo Nappy Balm – A gentle, edible-grade cream made with nourishing oils and barrier ingredients to protect baby’s skin.
🧻 3. Baby Wipes
Wipes are used multiple times a day, so it’s worth choosing ones that are free from harsh chemicals, alcohol and fragrance.
My Favourite Brands:
- Tooshies by TOM Pure Baby Wipes – 99.4% natural, biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
- WaterWipes – 99.9% water with a drop of fruit extract. While not organic, they’re incredibly gentle.
🍼 4. Baby Bottles
Plastic bottles can leach microplastics and often contain endocrine disruptors like BPA and BPS. Opting for glass or medical-grade silicone is a safer choice.
What I use:
- Pigeon Glass Bottles – Simple, clean design with a soft silicone teat.
🌿 6. Baby Skincare
Although babies don’t require a huge skincare routine, sometimes you need to moisturise or treat their dry skin. If you can, try and choose plant-based or certified organic products where possible.
Some options I have used:
- Bunjie Moisture Lotion – a lightweight, plant-based lotion with prebiotic, probiotic, and postbiotic boosters to promote a healthy skin microbiome.
- GAIA Natural Baby Moisturiser – Australian-made, affordable, and enriched with organic shea butter and avocado oil.
Switching to organic and non-toxic baby products doesn’t have to happen all at once. Start with the products you use most often and replace them one by one.
